Abstract

In this text, I intend to address some topics associated with the history and theory of film criticism, aiming to raise some more general questions about the nature of art criticism and the image within a contemporary context, that is, in a digital world.

Juan D. Cárdenas, Corporación Universitaria Unitec

Ph.D. in Philosophy, Art, and Critical Thought (PACT) at the European Graduate School (EGS), Switzerland. Faculty member in the Master's program in Creative Writing at the National University of Colombia and in the Master's program in Audiovisual Creation at the Pontifical Javeriana University. Director of the Artistic Thought and Communication (PAC) research group at the Unitec University Corporation and Editor of the {Común-A} journal.
